    Assisting / leading teams to develop PGF business cases for the Nelson AI Institute, the upgrade of SH43, Yarrows Stadium (as a multi-purpose meeting place), the Unueku Pokaka Eco-sanctuary proposal, the RAL Whakapapa Waka, Foxton River Loop amenity and water quality Upgrades

    Working with a talented team to lead the development of a $56m co-investment proposal to secure the resilience of the Westport community against flood risks.

  • Positioning Fonterra to engage with Tainui Waikato on the water quality challenges they face in the Waikato River and and Ngāi Tahu on the water quality challenges at Te Waihora.

    Working with Ngāti Raukawa on ‘Foxton Futures’ and assisting to progress resolution of grievances about the quality of the lower Manawatū River.

  • Co-leading / authoring the development of the refreshed ‘Sustainable Dairying: Water Accord’.

    Working with stakeholders to develop a Strategy and Action Plan for the management of the Waituna Lagoon in Southland.

    Assisting local government (via LGNZ) and regional councils to define how they may better collaborate to achieve climate change outcomes.

    Reviewing draft regional land and water plans prepared by Environment Southland and Taranaki Regional Council.

    Helping to develop a globally agreed method for documenting the carbon footprint of milk-products.

    Assisting Fonterra to set objectives to lower its carbon footprint by 30% by 2030.

    Helping Fonterra to manage issues associated with the use of palm kernel.

    Assisting local government (via LGNZ) and regional councils to define how they may better collaborate to achieve climate change outcomes.

    Working with regional councils to prepare a submission on the draft National (Climate Change) Adaptation Plan.

    Working with Auckland Transport to develop a framework to assist decision making on decarbonising private car use.

  • Partnering with Geoff Henley to develop new operational models for Greater Wellington Regional Council’s and Horizon Regional Council’s environmental management groups.

    Documenting the contextual challenges and options for Horizons Regional Council organisational changes.

    Reviewing Environment Southland’s science service delivery arrangements.

    Assisting RAL and Ruapehu District Council to identify and resolve community and customer relationship challenges.

    Co-authoring (with Peter Winder) the 2013 local government reform proposal for greater Wellington.
